Cookie & Tracking Policy

Last updated: 9 March 2026

This policy explains how ChaseNudge uses cookies and tracking technologies on our website and within emails sent through our Service.

1. Cookies on Our Website

Essential cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These do not require consent as they are essential to provide the Service.

CookiePurposeDuration

Analytics cookies: We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Third-party cookies: Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process for fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

2. Email Tracking Pixel

Follow-up emails sent through ChaseNudge contain an embedded tracking pixel: a small, invisible 1×1 image hosted on our servers. This is a standard practice used across the email industry.

What we collect when the pixel loads:

  • That the email was opened
  • The date and time of the open

What we do NOT collect:

  • The recipient's location or IP address for profiling
  • Any data beyond the open event
  • Browsing behaviour or cross-site tracking

This data is used solely to show ChaseNudge users whether their proposal follow-up was viewed. It is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.

3. Legal Basis

Website cookies: Essential cookies are placed under the "strictly necessary" exemption of the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) and do not require consent.

Email tracking pixel: The tracking pixel is used under the legitimate interest of the ChaseNudge user (the sender) to understand whether their business proposal has been received and read. Under the ePrivacy Directive, some EU member states may require consent for tracking pixels. ChaseNudge users are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws applicable in their and their recipients' jurisdictions.

4. How to Control Tracking

Website cookies: You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from using the Service.

Email tracking pixels: Most email clients allow recipients to disable image loading, which prevents tracking pixels from functioning. This is controlled by the recipient's email settings, not by ChaseNudge.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
