Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 9 March 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of ChaseNudge. It exists to prevent misuse, protect our users, and ensure the Service remains reliable for everyone. Violating this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

1. Intended Use

ChaseNudge is designed exclusively for following up on business proposals that you have already sent to a specific individual or company. Follow-up emails must be directly related to a real proposal, quote, or business conversation you have had with the recipient.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use ChaseNudge to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk email. Every follow-up must relate to a real proposal you sent to a specific person. Cold outreach, mass marketing, and purchased email lists are strictly prohibited.
  • Send emails to people who have not received a proposal from you. The recipient must have an existing business relationship with you.
  • Send harassing, threatening, abusive, or fraudulent content.
  • Impersonate another person or business. Emails are sent from your own connected email account. Do not misrepresent your identity.
  • Send content that is illegal under EU, Irish, or the recipient's local law, including content that violates intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent sending limits, rate limits, or security measures.
  • Use the Service for phishing, malware distribution, or social engineering attacks.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
  • Resell or sub-license access to the Service without written permission.

3. Email Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that your follow-up emails comply with:

  • The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation): particularly when processing recipients' personal data
  • The ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC): regarding electronic communications and tracking
  • CAN-SPAM Act (if sending to US recipients): including honouring unsubscribe requests
  • Any other applicable local anti-spam or data protection laws

ChaseNudge provides the tools; you are responsible for how you use them. If a recipient asks you to stop emailing them, you must immediately pause or archive the relevant proposal.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate potential violations of this AUP. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may:

  • Issue a warning
  • Temporarily suspend your account and pause all scheduled follow-ups
  • Permanently terminate your account
  • Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities

Serious or repeated violations will result in immediate termination without warning.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you receive an unwanted or abusive email that was sent via ChaseNudge, or if you suspect a user is violating this policy, please report it to abuse@chasenudge.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
